Your goal

 

Due to high growth IamFluidics is hiring a Chief Commercial Officer. IamFluidics is an investor-backed scale-up that is about to launch production for a world-class customer. In parallel IamFluidics will access key players in different markets with our patent-protected microparticle technologies. As a Chief Commercial Officer, you will shape this effort.

You will identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help our business grow. By strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate target markets of our microencapsulation technologies, including Personal Care, Life Sciences and Pharmaceuticals, you will shape the overall operation of the business, position, and reputation. We focus on globally leading players in our target markets (B2B).

Your work reaches across all areas of the business and company and specifically involves B2B.

You will be part of the Management Team of IamFluidics.

 

Job responsibilities:

 

You will:

  • Identify and follow-up new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
    • in early phase via desktop research and KOL contacts
    • foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
    • prepare and deliver sales presentations and company presentations,
  • Actively engage in the management of IamFluidics
    • carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings in the management
    • develop the business sales and marketing strategy
    • propose, monitor and meet sales targets,
  • Think and work strategically
    • seeing the bigger picture inside and outside IamFluidics and
    • setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
    • carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes,
  • Reach out
    • attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
    • create and maintain the new business development pipeline
    • monitor and manage project plans, budgets, progress reports and documentation.

You:

 

  • are a team player and strong communicator
  • are looking to work in a gender-diverse environment with people from different disciplines and backgrounds
  • ensure staff are on board throughout the organization, and understand the need for change and what is required of them
  • are self-motivated, enjoy actively seeking out and contacting potential customers, and able to translate the needs of (potential) customers to commercial opportunities
  • cooperative, well-organized, pragmatic mindset,

 

You have:

 

  • Academic degree (MSc or PhD) in chemistry, cosmetic science, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or similar field of study.
  • Extensive know-how of companies, materials and components in personal care/life science/pharmaceuticals markets.
  • Proven track record in International Business Development and Sales in a B2B setting with at least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Knowledge of regulation in cosmetics/personal care is a plus.
  • Network in target market(s) of encapsulation.
