Our mission


Microparticles are everywhere! For example, in food, textiles, cosmetics, biomedical and pharmaceutical products. However, current microparticle production methods are inefficient and not sustainable (e.g., resulting in microplastics). It is IamFluidics’ mission to revolutionize microparticle production for a healthier planet by developing the next generation of sustainable, scalable, and superb microencapsulation technologies. To this end, we have invented a disruptive and sustainable technology to create high-quality microparticles at jet speed. Now, we are ready to start production and conquer the market with our sustainable, scalable, and superb microencapsulation solutions!

Your goal


You will play a key role in entering the market with our first generation of products. You will support this by your marketing and communication experience from a B2B international environment. Besides product launching, event planning and communications, you will have the opportunity to work on supporting the strategic implementation by the development of go-to-market strategies, segment plans, communication and sales tools and support in further professionalization of our marketing, communication and sales department to maximize growth and the IamFluidics position in the market. At IamFluidics, we are continuously developing innovative processes and formulations that have the potential to globally influence the use of microparticles in cosmetic, food, and healthcare applications. You will thus be learning and co-creating within a dynamic and fast innovating company.

Your responsibilities

  • Translating IamFluidics’ strategy and ambition into the corporate Marketing & Communication plan, including budgeting and managing expenses.
  • Collaborate with external marketing partners and other internal commercial and technical functions to develop a clear positioning for IamFluidics and its narrative. Ensure this is clearly and consistently communicated internally and externally, through the appropriate channels.
  • Translate segment and promotion needs (target audience, key messages) and initiate in- and outbound marketing strategies and activities from your global plan, including a.o. product launches, sales tool development, diversified channels, customer-facing events and editorial & advertising
  • Support sales in generating demand for IamFluidics’ products through effective messaging and marketing programs by creating content for marketing materials and campaigns and connect promotional activities to generation of leads and assist in lead management, aiming at maximizing lead conversion
  • Contribute to knowledge building and securing Marketing & Communication intelligence of target markets including market trends, positioning, value proposition, competitive activity. Monitor and frequently report on insights on competitors, customers, and key industry players activities and define opportunities for IamFluidics.
  • Organizing and attending leading industry exhibitions, including developing engagement plans before during, and after events and executing plans in coordination with the segment teams
  • Managing key Marketing & Communication operations and tools
  • Enhancing brand management on a corporate, business, product level, as well employer branding

About you


  • You hold at least a BSc/MSc in Marketing, Product Management, Business Administration or equivalent;
  • You have at least 5 years of industrial experience from a B2B international environment in a Marketing, Product Communication or Digital Marketing or related position;
  • Proven track record of developing and successfully rolling out marketing communication plans, experienced with copy-writing, value propositions and product positioning, and relative sales tools.
  • Experience in internal and external event management.
  • Experience in digital communication and/or digitalization
  • You have exceptional communication skills both written and oral, are fluent in English (must) and Dutch (preferred).
  • You are hands-on, creative and result-driven as well as having an entrepreneurial and flexible mindset striving for further growth and professionalization of IamFluidics;
  • Willingness to travel max 10-20% of the time. Overseas trips may require travel during weekends
