As R&D Engineer at IamFluidics, you will be involved in the next generation of products for IamFluidics in the field of health and life sciences. Together with our scientists and product developers you perform and co-develop experiments and operating procedures that are used in the lab.

About you
Experience Required:
- You have at least 3 years of working experience as R&D technician or engineer in an industrial wet lab, preferably under a ISO and/or GMP quality system;
- You finished HLO, BSc or MSc;
- You are hands-on and result-driven, as well as having an entrepreneurial and flexible mindset striving for further growth and professionalization of our company;
- You have a analytical skillset and can interpret data to further develop our products; Â
- You have good communication skills and are comfortable to instruct colleagues and discuss with external suppliers;
- You are meticulous, well-organized, yet comfortable with multi-tasking. Â
What You’ll Do
As R&D Engineer at IamFluidics, you will be involved in the next generation of products for IamFluidics in the field of health and life sciences. Together with our scientists and product developers you perform and co-develop experiments and operating procedures that are used in the lab. For example you take the lead in setting up, executing and interpreting data from stability and release studies. You also develop and optimize analytical assays needed to obtain and evaluate the results that will bring our products to the market. By using continuous improvement, you organize and maintain our R&D labs and advance them in efficiency and reliability including its inventory and equipment. Â
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize analytical assays and put them to use in our R&D tracks;
- Conduct experiments for running projects, including liquid preparation, formulation, (micro) encapsulation and pilot productions;
- Oversee and perform stability and release studies of sensitive ingredients;
- Master, maintain, and operate lab equipment, including several in-air microfluidics setups;
- Set up and execute technical and administrational lab organization activities including (chemical) inventory, cleaning, and equipment maintenance;
- Optimization and execution of lab duties, lab safety, and quality procedures;
- Provide standardized trainings and demonstrations to new lab members;
