Our patented IN-AIR MICROFLUIDICS™ technology combines microfluidic precision with industrial scalability. Using micrometer-sized liquid jets in mid-air, we create uniform microparticles, microcapsules, and even microfibers from 30µm to 3mm.
This chip-free, high-throughput platform enables gentle microencapsulation for life science, biopharma, and consumer care applications. IN-AIR MICROFLUIDICS™ merges microfluidic precision with industry-scale production, outperforming traditional vibrating jet, chip-based microfluidics, spray drying, and emulsification. Our process produces uniform, pristine, and biocompatible microparticles at kilogram-per-day throughput, with a size distribution (CV) below 5%.
Because particles are formed in mid-air rather than in chips or emulsions, the process is gentle, solvent-free, and low-stress, thereby preserving sensitive ingredients and ensuring consistent quality. This makes IN-AIR MICROFLUIDICS™ a cleaner, faster, and more scalable alternative for microencapsulation and particle engineering in biopharma, life science, and consumer care applications.
