Continuous High‐Throughput Fabrication of Architected Micromaterials via In‐Air Photopolymerization

A new version of in-air microfluidics is born! The Fluid Mechanics for Functional Materials team of the University of Twente have published a new method to fabricate controlled particles that consist of UV-sensitive inks. Remarkably, thousands of microlenses with a controlled focal length could also be produced, within a few seconds! IamFluidics especially congratulates first authors Dr. Jieke Jiang and Ir. Gary Shea with this work, that was recently published in Advanced Materials.
