Bring structure to complex technical projects in a lean and practical way

Project manager in life sciences

IamFluidics is a technology-driven biotech company developing advanced microparticle and encapsulation solutions, for long-acting release applications. We are looking for a Project Manager who will coordinate our internal and customer projects across the organization. You will be the central person making sure projects move from agreed scope to delivery: on time, within budget, with clear ownership and good communication.

This is not a purely administrative project management role. You will work closely with scientists, engineers, commercial colleagues and management, so you should be comfortable working in a technical R&D environment where not everything is known in advance.

How the role fits into the organization

Each project has a technical lead who owns the technical content and detailed technical decisions. As Project Manager, you own the delivery process.

You are not expected to make specialist scientific decisions yourself. Your role is to make sure the right technical people make those decisions in time and that the consequences for scope, planning and resources are clear.

You will work closely with:

  • The commercial team on new projects and customer commitments.
  • Technical leads and project teams on execution.
  • Management on overall portfolio priorities and resource trade-offs.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who brings structure without creating bureaucracy.

·        Proven experience in project management in biotechnology, life sciences, medical technology, engineering, R&D or another technical environment.

·        The ability to manage several projects and competing priorities at the same time.

·        Strong planning and organizational skills.

·        Confidence working with scientists and engineers.

·        The ability to understand technical discussions at a level sufficient to identify risks, dependencies and decisions.

·        A practical and proactive working style.

·        Strong communication skills with both internal teams and customers.

·        The ability to challenge unclear scope, unrealistic planning or missing ownership.

·        Comfort working in a small, fast-moving organization where priorities can change.

Experience with CRO projects, pharmaceutical development, formulation development or biologics is an advantage, but not essential.

You fill fit well if you..

·        Like bringing clarity to complex situations.

·        Naturally ask "who owns this and by when?"

·        Can keep a team focused on the agreed goal.

·        Are comfortable saying when something is outside scope.

·        Can work with uncertainty without losing structure.

·        Prefer simple, effective project management over heavy processes.

·        Can communicate directly and constructively with senior scientists and management.

Why join IamFluidics

You will work in a small, multidisciplinary technical team where you can have a direct impact on how projects are run and delivered.

The role offers a high level of responsibility, close collaboration with scientists, engineers and management, and the opportunity to shape a practical and effective way of working across the organization.

What we offer

What we offer

·        We offer a gross monthly salary of €5,000–€5,800 based on a 40-hour working week, depending on your relevant experience and background.

·        25 vacation days per year and an employer pension contribution (based on a 40-hour working week).

·        The possibility of participating in our SARS incentive scheme.

·        A high level of responsibility, close collaboration with scientists, engineers and management, and the opportunity to shape how projects are run.

·        A practical working environment with short decision lines and lean processes.
